Table of Contents
ToggleThe Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal F.C., is the latest among English clubs to get a facelift. Arsenal have fallen through the ranks to fifth in capacity after Tottenham F.C. and Westham United recently moved into their new stadia.
The anticipated renovations at the Emirates Stadium aren’t just about size, but also about the facilities and amenities the stadium offers. Stadiums are seeking ways to generate more revenue throughout the year, not just on game days, and one approach is to provide exquisite hospitality services that include restaurants, lounges, conference halls, and bars. It's almost certain that the Emirates renovation will also feature upgrades of the different hospitality options they have on offer and possibly the inclusion of a few new ones.
Here is a breakdown of some of the options that the Arsenal stadium currently offers, the features available, and how they could improve revenue generation and fan experience throughout the year.
The Academy
The Academy is one of Arsenal's club-level hospitality packages, providing a casual experience for fans at one of the four iconic bars. The location also features 14 tasty food kiosks where fans can dine before taking in the incredible views from the corner or behind the goals section.
The package is available on a per-person basis at selected Arsenal Men's games. Expanding The Academy to accommodate more fans and redesigning the seating and the bars could allow the venue to hold more fans and add more amenities and services that allow fans to remain in the stadium longer.
Additionally, more modern facilities could allow The Academy to be opened for events and parties out of game days, giving the club additional sources of revenue.

The Foundry
The Foundry is set within the exclusive Foundry restaurant. Fans can indulge in elegant three-course dining, featuring a menu packed with seasonal British classics with a modern twist. Servings include soft drinks, wines and beers.
The outstanding part of The Foundry is the opportunity to chat with an Arsenal legend before making your way to relax in your premium Club Level seats and take in all the action.
While pondering the renovation of the Emirates' hospitality facilities, The Foundry could be one of the areas for improvement and redesign. The Foundry currently has a standing capacity of 100 guests, with 90 guests seated, 90 in the theatre, and 55 guests dining.
A renovation and redesign of this location could help boost capacity and, consequently, revenue, allowing the club to generate even more money on game days and charge higher fees for events. The current décor of The Foundry could also benefit from an upgrade to keep it in touch with modern trends and make it more appealing to the fans.

The Executive Box
You can host colleagues, family, or friends in your own private box at the Emirates Stadium. There are a total of 146 boxes and 14 suites, each with a capacity of 10-15 people, offering various services including meals, drinks and crafted desserts.
The boxes come with padded seats just outside the box with prime views of the pitch. Although the current experience in the executive boxes is to die for and premium by all means, the executive boxes can be made even more fan-friendly, expanded to host more people, and allow the stadium to charge more, and possibly finished in more robust options that allow them to be used for other events outside of match days.
With the planned expansion and renovation of the Emirates Stadium to add more seating and self-service bars, it is evident that Arsenal is following an established path to modernise hospitality and optimise revenue generation outside matchdays.
