Most notably, our work on The Cut & Craft Manchester earned the prestigious Fit-Out Project of the Year – Hospitality Restaurant at the 2025 Fit-Out Awards UK. Since opening, the restaurant has continued to gain national recognition, cementing its reputation as one of the UK’s most celebrated dining destinations.

Situated inside the Grade II-listed Bond Building*, formerly the Manchester & Salford Bank (built in 1862), this 9,000 sq. ft. venue represents the most ambitious Cut & Craft project to date. The brief was to create a destination restaurant that honoured the building’s rich architectural heritage while introducing a bold, modern hospitality experience.

Working alongside Studio Two Interiors, who led the design, Dawnvale delivered the full restaurant fit-out over a three-month programme.

This project presented unique technical and logistical challenges, including:

Rich blue and gold colour palettes
Ornate chandeliers and bespoke joinery
A private sommelier lounge
The distinctive “Gossip Lounge”
Luxurious dining zones and bar areas

The result is a visually striking, operationally efficient venue that now ranks among Manchester’s most talked-about restaurants.
