ToggleAs we reflect on 2025, it has been another strong and rewarding year for Dawnvale. We have been proud to work with a mix of fantastic new clients alongside many long-standing partners, delivering a wide range of complex hospitality fit-out projects across the UK. Below are some of the highlights from the year.
Cut & Craft
We started the year with Cut & Craft, one of Manchester’s most awarded venues of 2025. This ambitious project involved the full transformation of a Grade II listed building, completed within a demanding 12-week programme. Working closely with Studio Two, we brought their design vision to life while carefully respecting the character and heritage of the building.
BP Pulse Live Arena
At the BP Pulse LIVE Arena, NEC, our team delivered three premium hospitality spaces within an eight-week programme. Working to an excellent design scheme by Jump Studios, the project required detailed coordination and precise delivery to meet tight timescales, resulting in high-quality spaces designed to enhance the guest experience.
Utilita Arena Birmingham
Over the other side of Birmingham, the team completed four hospitality suites at the Utilita Arena Birmingham within the same eight-week timeframe. Once again collaborating with Jump Studios, this project demonstrated our ability to deliver multiple large-scale arena projects concurrently while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
Birmingham City F.C.
As partners of Birmingham City FC, we continued to support the club with fit-out solutions wherever required throughout the stadium. This included The Jewel, designed by 20:20, as well as the refurbishment of VIP boxes on both sides of the ground, working to designs by Space Invader.
Manchester City F.C.
We also progressed multiple projects as official fit-out suppliers to Manchester City FC, including an impressive upgrade to the already high-quality Chairman’s Club, while also preparing for a significant new project scheduled to commence with the club next year.
Burton Albion F.C.
This year marked the start of a new relationship with Burton Albion FC. As part of the club’s new fan zone development, we delivered the full fit-out of all kitchen and service areas, helping to enhance the matchday experience for supporters.
Hickory's
2025 has been a fantastic year working alongside Hickory’s Smokehouse, a client that continues to lead the way within the smokehouse sector. Over the course of the year, we delivered twelve bespoke kitchens, supporting an ambitious programme of new openings and refurbishments.
With the equivalent of a new site completed every four weeks, locations including York, Chester, Milton Keynes, Standish, Swindon, Sheffield, Leicester, Telford, Cardiff, Northampton, Thornaby and Castle Bromwich have all benefited from the brand’s continued investment and growth, each making a positive impact within their local communities.
St Paul’s Market
One of the standout projects of the year was St Paul’s Market, a rustic warehouse transformation into a vibrant and contemporary food hall in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Working to a design by Studio R2A, the project carefully balanced the building’s industrial character with modern hospitality requirements, creating a welcoming destination for both visitors and local residents. The finished space delivers a flexible and engaging environment that reflects the area’s creative energy while supporting a diverse range of food and beverage operators.
Donnington & Co
We also completed a comprehensive refurbishment of Donnington & Co Hotel and Spa, delivered while the hotel remained fully operational. Careful planning and close collaboration with the client allowed works to be phased efficiently, minimising disruption to guests and staff. This approach enabled the business to continue trading throughout the programme, while achieving a refreshed and upgraded environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Charity
Beyond project delivery, 2025 was also a strong year for our team culture and charitable efforts. We raised an incredible £10,000 for When You Wish Upon a Star through the Three Peaks Challenge, followed by a Macmillan Coffee Morning and a recent toy collection in support of Cash for Kids Manchester.
Events
We exhibited, sponsored and spoke at a number of key industry events, including SVB Live and the Stadium Business Summit. These events provided an excellent platform to share our expertise, but were equally valuable for the knowledge gained from other speakers and the opportunity to connect with peers and partners across the industry.
Awards
The year concluded on a real high with widespread recognition for both our projects and our people. At the Fit Out UK Awards, Cut & Craft was named Restaurant Fit-Out of the Year, and Alan Thomas was awarded Project Manager of the Year. We also secured further award wins for projects such as Retigo and Food in Space, alongside numerous nominations across categories at the Food Industry Awards and the Stadium Business Design and Development Awards.
Service
Our service team has also continued to grow, supporting both new and existing clients with a comprehensive range of services, helping to keep some of the busiest kitchens across the UK operating efficiently and reliably.
Thank you
We would like to thank all our clients, partners and suppliers for their continued support throughout 2025. We look forward to building on this momentum and delivering more outstanding projects together in 2026.
