Dawnvale Hosts Its First Macmillan Coffee Morning
On September 26th, the Dawnvale team came together for our very first Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising almost £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support, all through coffee, cake and great company.
The idea was simple: everyone was invited to bake or bring something sweet (or savoury!) to share, and donations were made by those who came along to sample the spread. It wasn’t just our team who got involved – we were also joined by a few friendly faces from our local suppliers, who popped in to show their support and enjoy a treat or two.
The office was decked out in green décor and flowers, creating a lively, feel-good atmosphere that really lifted everyone’s spirits. People took time out of their day to sit, chat, and enjoy a proper coffee break together, something we don’t do often enough!
Our fancy coffees, both hot and iced, proved especially popular (there were plenty of repeat customers), while the Biscoff cheesecake claimed the top spot as everyone’s favourite bake. The lemon and raspberry cake also drew plenty of compliments for its presentation, and rightly so.
Here’s a snapshot of our star bakers and their contributions:

It was a fantastic morning that brought everyone together – full of laughs, sugar highs and good vibes. For our first attempt, it couldn’t have gone better, and it’s safe to say this will now become a yearly Dawnvale tradition.
Next year, we’re already planning to go bigger and better.
