Dawnvale Nominated for Three Fit Out Awards UK 2025

We’re proud to announce that Dawnvale has been nominated for three categories at the 2025 Fit Out Awards UK, recognising our standout work at two of the country’s most exciting venues: The Cut & Craft Manchester and Birmingham City F.C.
We’re also thrilled that our very own Allen Thomas is in the running for Fit Out Project Manager of the Year, a testament to the dedication and expertise that powers many of the projects we deliver.

About the Fit Out Awards UK

Now in its second year, the Fit Out Awards UK celebrate excellence and innovation in the UK’s fit-out sector. Originating from the highly respected Fit Out Awards Ireland, which has honoured the industry’s best since 2012, the UK edition is fast becoming a benchmark for outstanding delivery, design, and leadership across the fit-out community.

The winners will be announced at a live awards ceremony on 11 September 2025, held at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, where hundreds of industry leaders and professionals will gather to recognise the year’s most exceptional projects.

Set inside the Grade II-listed former Manchester & Salford Bank, our fit-out of The Cut & Craft Manchester is a striking example of heritage restoration meeting modern luxury. Designed by Studio Two Interiors and delivered by Dawnvale, the transformation spanned three months and resulted in a 9,000 sq. ft. space defined by glittering chandeliers, rich blue and gold tones, and standout features like the private sommelier lounge and “Gossip Lounge.”

From navigating original vault doors (complete with smoke deterrents!) to preserving and showcasing the building’s historic bones, this project demanded precision, creativity, and collaboration. We’re incredibly proud to see it recognised on a national stage, and even more so to see it featured in Premier Hospitality Magazine.

In just 12 weeks, we transformed key areas of St. Andrew’s Stadium, delivering a comprehensive hospitality upgrade across seven unique suites, three new kitchens, multiple bar areas, offices, staircases, and more.

Highlights of this fast-track project include:

Box 2 Box:
Now one of the longest stadium bars in Europe. Dug straight out of the ground underneath the Kop stand!

The Boardroom:
A luxurious hospitality suite with wide open views, a beautiful curved central bar and multiple private dinning rooms.

The Garrison:
A Peaky Blinders-themed space featuring authentic set pieces with a real nod to the city's culture and history.

The 12 Lounge:
A modern, zoned space built from reimagined VIP boxes with an American hospitality influence.

The Sponsors Lounge:
A tech infused space with a Vegas inspired feel, perfect for matchdays and events.

This large-scale redevelopment has elevated Birmingham City FC’s matchday experience while showcasing what’s possible with speed, creativity, and tight coordination. A huge thank you to SpaceInvader for the inspired designs and to the club for their trust in our team.

Behind every great fit-out is someone keeping everything running smoothly. For us, that’s Alan Thomas, whose leadership across the Birmingham City F.C. redevelopment was second to none. From planning and procurement to managing logistics across multiple concurrent sites, all within a live stadium, Alan’s role was instrumental in bringing this ambitious project to life on time and to standard.

This nomination is a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional work, attention to detail, and ability to deliver under pressure.

To be shortlisted across three major categories at the Fit Out Awards UK 2025 is a true honour and a reflection of the incredible people we work with, from designers and clients to suppliers and our in-house teams.
