Enhancing a Boutique Coastal Venue: The Lilly Breakfast Room Refurbishment

The Lilly Restaurant with Rooms is a boutique hospitality venue located on the picturesque West Shore of Llandudno. Known for its intimate setting and coastal charm, the venue combines high-quality dining with stylish accommodation, catering to both leisure guests and private events.

Dawnvale has an established relationship with The Lilly, having previously delivered the refurbishment of the hotel’s bar and restaurant areas. Following the success of that earlier phase, the client returned to Dawnvale’s Project Resource team to support the next stage of the venue’s ongoing investment programme, reinforcing a trusted and collaborative partnership.

The latest phase of works focused on the breakfast room, a key space within the venue that also operates as a flexible function room. The brief was to elevate the overall look and feel of the space while improving its adaptability for different trading periods and event types.

Working closely with the client, the Project Resource team delivered a focused package of interior upgrades. This included the specification and installation of new side chairs and high stools, poseur-height fixed seating, laminate table tops with brass edging, decorative table lighting, pendant ceiling lights and feature wallpaper. Every element was carefully selected to balance durability with a refined aesthetic, ensuring the space remained practical while reflecting the character of the venue.

The transformed room now offers greater flexibility, allowing the client to maximise the use of the space throughout the day and into the evening. The improved layout and finishes enhance the guest experience while supporting a wider range of functions, from relaxed breakfasts to private dining and events, helping to drive additional revenue opportunities.
