Fast-Track Delivery: Refurbishing VIP Boxes 57 & 58
Table of Contents
ToggleFollowing our fast-track fit-out of the Etihad Box, the Manchester City team presented us with our next challenge: refurbishing two neighbouring corporate suites—VIP Boxes 57 and 58—with zero stadium downtime.
A window of two consecutive away matches gave us roughly three weeks to complete both suites and hand them back fully operational ahead of the next home fixture. Because the boxes sit adjacent to each other, our project management team designed a staggered workflow. Specialist trades moved seamlessly between the two spaces without overlapping or overcrowding, keeping momentum high and site management completely streamlined.
VIP Box 57
Designed to maximise central floor space and create a refined, bistro-style atmosphere, VIP Box 57 utilises a structured booth and banquette configuration. The layout features rectangular marble-patterned tables paired with plush blue velvet tub chairs and custom built-in bench seating, making it ideal for organised group dining.
The space is framed by rich dark timber cabinetry with white stone worktops, overhead glass display storage, and integrated heating lamps for hot food presentation. Architectural details, including a full-height black door accented with vertical slatted timber and metallic gold trim, give the suite a distinctly premium feel, balanced by light wood-effect flooring and wall-mounted AV for matchday coverage.
VIP Box 58
VIP Box 58 takes a different approach to spatial flow, utilising a dual round table layout to encourage open, conversational hospitality. Two generous circular timber dining tables are positioned under a clean, multi-tiered white ceiling bulkhead with recessed spotlighting, surrounded by soft-blue executive armchairs to ensure unhindered sightlines through the floor-to-ceiling glass looking out onto the pitch.
Mirroring the high-spec material palette of its neighbouring suite, Box 58 includes custom dark wood millwork, bronze hardware, dedicated serving counters, and seamless carpeted flooring across the main seating zone. The arrangement allows larger parties to socialise freely while maintaining effortless access to pre-match catering and ongoing beverage service.
The Result
Delivered strictly within the three-week away fixture window, both VIP Box 57 and VIP Box 58 were handed over on schedule without a single hour of operational interruption. The project demonstrates how precise scheduling, adaptable layouts, and clear site coordination can transform multiple high-spec hospitality spaces under strict time constraints.
