While the background technology is highly advanced, the customer experience is flawlessly simple. Guests scan their bank card at the entry gate, walk inside, and freely pick up hot and cold food or snacks. They can even pour their own drinks at the self-serve beverage stations before simply walking out the exit, where the system automatically charges their card.

This groundbreaking store is the first of its kind in Europe where two cutting-edge hospitality technologies have been used together. Dawnvale seamlessly integrated Boxbar's automated, self-dispensing drinks system with AiFi's AI-driven computer vision tracking. Combining to create a completely autonomous, frictionless shopping environment never before seen on the continent.

Dawnvale delivered the physical infrastructure and modifications needed to enable this automated setup. The works included the installation of precision speed gates, rerouting utilities where required, constructing the Boxbar self serve wall, adapting the existing kiosks to incorporate commercial fridges and heated shelves, supporting the grab-and-go food and drink offering.

This frictionless layout fits eight self-serving dispensers into the footprint of two traditional taps and pours four drinks simultaneously, quadrupling capacity and accelerating transaction velocity without adding infrastructure overhead. Combined with grab-and-go hot food and snack counters, this zero-queue design optimises total transaction volume per minute. The resulting compact footprint eliminates concourse congestion and slashes wait times, keeping crowds happily moving throughout the venue.
