Proudly Supporting Shaw Ladies Cricket Team

At Dawnvale, we are passionate about two things: delivering world-class hospitality fit-outs and supporting the communities that make our region so vibrant. That is why we are absolutely thrilled to announce our official sponsorship of Shaw Ladies Cricket Team!

Thanks to this partnership, we’ve been able to provide the team with a brand-new, full set of playing kit, kit bags, training equipment, and match balls. It’s an honor to support a team that represents the very best of local sport, community spirit, and female empowerment.

Established in 2022 by a small group of wives and girlfriends of the Shaw men’s team, Shaw Ladies Cricket Team has grown alongside the massive national rise in women’s sport. Bolstered by ECB investment and inspired by the national stage, the team has built something truly special right here in Greater Manchester.

Today, the squad features players ranging from ages 14 to 55. But Shaw Ladies is about far more than just runs and wickets. It is a thriving, supportive community where women and girls can learn new skills, boost their physical fitness, spend time outdoors, and build lifelong friendships. From trips to Emirates Old Trafford to watch The Hundred to hosting local fundraisers, this team is a tight-knit family.

As part of our partnership, we are incredibly proud that the team's new Dawnvale-sponsored kit prominently features the logo of Maggie’s, the team’s chosen charity. Maggie's provides invaluable free cancer support and information in centres across the UK, and raising awareness for their life-changing work is a cause close to all of our hearts.

The ladies recently put this new kit to great use, competing in a fundraising cricket festival in support of Maggie's and finishing as proud runners-up.

On the pitch, Shaw Ladies have been nothing short of unstoppable:

Winter Champions: The team dominated the indoor cricket league, being crowned league champions in 2025.

International Glory: Building on that winter success, the team travelled to Malta for a pre-season international cricket festival. Competing against 14 teams from around the globe, Shaw Ladies won all seven of their matches to reach the final, ultimately taking home the trophy as 2026 Tournament Champions! Plans are already in motion for 2027 to defend their title.

Current League Leaders: Back home, the team is currently competing in the Greater Manchester Cricket League Championship. Sitting comfortably at the top of the table halfway through the season with just a single defeat, they have their sights firmly set on promotion to the Premier League.

This partnership also brings together some fantastic full-circle moments. Following Dawnvale's recent completion of the hospitality spaces at the Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford, our very own Antonia and Louise had the incredible opportunity to step onto the legendary Lancashire home turf.

Representing Shaw Ladies at a special partners' day, it was a proud moment for both the Dawnvale and Shaw families to see our team members showcasing their skills at such an iconic venue.

We are incredibly excited to see what the rest of the season holds for Shaw Ladies Cricket Team as they push for promotion, continue their incredible charitable work, and inspire the next generation of players.

Join us in wishing the ladies the absolute best of luck for the rest of the summer; we are with you all the way!
